We had the choice to take
a bullet train
and get to Kyoto in less than 3 hours,
but instead
we took many local trains and spent
9 hours to get there.
It was such a nice day,
and the view of the ocean and the sky was
just
so gorgeous.

The first night in Kyoto,
we were pretty tired after the long train ride.
Luckily there was a convenience store
across from the hotel.
Dinner of the day
was convenience store food
but it sure did taste good to me.
